Accreditations, labels & rankings
The quality of EPF's programs and teaching methods is now recognized by the most prestigious official labels and awards.
EPF has been awarded the EESPIG label, which recognizes private, not-for-profit establishments that contribute to the public service of higher education and research, award diplomas on behalf of the State and are regularly monitored by public authorities.
This prestigious distinction rewards establishments not only for their non-profit nature, but also for the quality of their teaching and training, and for their commitment to public service missions such as research, professional integration, international openness and equal opportunities.

Created in 1973, the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) today groups 227 Grandes Écoles (engineering, management, architecture, design, institute of political studies, etc.), all of which are recognized by the French State and award a Master's degree.
Admission to the CGE is based on stringent criteria covering structure, recruitment methods, teaching approach, international outlook, links with the business world, student support and the nature of degrees.

EPF’s courses are registered with the National Register of Professional Certifications (RNCP). They lead to RNCP qualifications awarded by the Ministry of Labour, which are recognised by the State throughout France and serve as a mark of quality in the job market.
- The EPF’s general engineering programme leads to the RNCP qualification of EPF Graduate Engineer.
- The EPF’s engineering apprenticeship programme leads to the RNCP qualification of EPF Graduate Engineer specialising in information systems.
- The Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences and Management Engineering leads to the award of a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Engineering – Information Systems
- The Bachelor’s degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering leads to the award of a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Engineering – Energy and Environmental Engineering.
- The three-year vocational programme in Systems, Networks and Cybersecurity Administration leads to the award of the RNCP qualification in Network and Cybersecurity Administration.

EPF has chosen to take part in prestigious competitive entrance exams:
- The Concours Avenir, which is currently the most attractive in terms of the number of candidates, but also the most selective of the various competitive entrance exams for post-bac engineering schools.
- The Centrale-Supélec and Banque PT competitive entrance exams for direct entry into the master's cycle.

Ranked 24th among post-baccalaureate engineering schools in the 2026 Figaro Étudiant rankings, EPF reaffirms the quality of its programs, which are recognized for their high employment rates and international focus.
Its international reach is also a major asset: thanks to 170 partner universities around the world, EPF offers its students numerous opportunities to enrich their international experience. Driven by innovative teaching methods and a demanding academic environment, EPF prepares its students to meet the challenges of tomorrow by developing skills tailored to the issues of the future.
The “Bienvenue en France” label is an initiative led by Campus France, aimed at strengthening the internationalization and attractiveness of French higher education institutions. This label is awarded to institutions that offer a high level of quality in welcoming and supporting international students.
Overall, the “Bienvenue en France” label helps international students identify institutions committed to providing a supportive and welcoming environment, making it easier for them to integrate and settle in France.

A rich and fulfilling student life
EPF has been certified “Happy at School”, a distinction based on a survey carried out directly with students, which rewards the school for the fulfillment of its students.
The survey is based on five themes:

EPF has been awarded the “Best School Experience 2026” label by Speak & Act and ranked 7th out of 125 engineering schools.
Speak & Act is the leading employer and school branding platform that certifies institutions offering the best student experience in order to inform, support, and guide students toward the right school. The "Best School Experience - Happiness Barometer" certification is based exclusively on student feedback collected through an anonymous questionnaire, ensuring impartiality and independence.
