Stefan Seiler takes the head of the international department
Former Secretary General of the Centre for International Studies and Research at Sciences Po, Stefan Seiler has joined the EPF in February to expand the notorioty of the school abroad and to participate in the opening on the world of its students.
Specialist in Franco-German relations, Stefan Seiler has successively worked for the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the Robert Schuman Foundation and the ENA. However, he spent most of his career at Sciences Po (prestigious French university). Recruited in 2008 as Head of International Relations and German-speaking countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Stefan Seiler subsequently joined the administration of the Centre for Studies and Research at Sciences Po International as Secretary General, thus contributing to the strategic thinking of international and European relations in the school.
With 30% of French students in bi-national and bi-degree programs, 15% of foreign students, a mandatory semester abroad and 152 partner universities in 47 countries, the International occupies a central place in the EPF formation.
"The EPF has convinced me for its proximity with its students, its social approach (disability, gender equality, diversity, sustainable development, etc.), but especially for its international ambitions. The international dimension is indeed very present in the curriculum and there is a strong will to develop it more, to benefit the students and attractiveness of the school" says Stefan Seiler.
